  10. To install this program:

  12.    Change to the drive containing the diskette (A: for example).
  13.  
  14.    At the A> prompt, type    INSTALL    and press <enter>.
  15.  
  16.    The program will guide you from there.
  17.  
  18. Please print a copy of the documentation before attempting to run the program.
  19.  
  20. To print:  copy checks1.doc lpt1:
  21.            copy checks2.doc lpt1:
  22.            copy checks3.doc lpt1:
  23.            copy checks4.doc lpt1:
  24.  
  25. Each segment of documentation is about 20 pages long.
  26.  
  27. These are ASCII files and may also be viewed by any word processor or text
  28. editor.
  29.  
  30. For a complete copy of the documentation, send $35 to the above address.  This
  31. will also register you as a user.  (Tennessee residents please add 8.25% sales
  32. tax ($2.89).)

  34. The file PACKING.LST is a text file which can be copied to the printer (just
  35. like the manual is) which lists the contents of this package.  Please verify
  36. that all files mentioned in PACKING.LST are present.
  37.  
  38. The file REGISTER.DOC is a text file which can be copied to the printer (just
  39. like the manual is) to provide you with a registration form that can be sent
  40. in with your registration fee.

  42. Please copy CHECKS.EXE to a working disk before starting the program.  To
  43. start without reading the documentation, type CHECKS
  44.  
  45. If the disk you receive contains any data files (*.DAT), delete these before
  46. starting the program the first time.
